From conception to design to implementation, privacy is embedded into the development of our consumer experience. A suite of professionals that includes product design, engineering, legal, and data protection collaborate to ensure that privacy is considered throughout the product lifecycle.
Data Minimization
We design our products to collect and retain only what is absolutely necessary for valid business purposes. We never collect data 'just in case' it might be useful at a later date. When data is no longer necessary for a valid business purpose, it is deleted.
Transparency
We explain our policies in easy-to-understand language and do not hide behind confusing jargon. In addition to our privacy policy, we inform you throughout your product experience — for example, during the age verification process — about our terms of service and data collection practices.
Safety & Security
Using a 'defense in depth' strategy, we adhere to best-in-class security practices to keep your data safe and protected against data leak and loss. This includes state-of-the-art firewall protections, secure data transmission, and encrypted data storage. However, no method can be guaranteed as completely secure.
Choice
We will always ask your permission whether or not to share personal data with Get Lyfted® and never use your data for any purpose for which you did not give us permission.
Data Access, Correction & Deletion
You have the right to exercise control over your data. This includes the right to request a copy of your data and the right to request corrections. Except in instances where we are legally required to retain data, all your data will be deleted upon request.
